'Split' from the EU, UK relations with the US Threatened?

Britain's decision to separate from the European Union considered potentially damaging its relationship with the United States. Both countries are known as a major force in the west who have a friendly relationship so closely.

The statement was delivered by former US Ambassador who now serves as president of the Chicago City Council, Ivo Daalder. According to Britain's ability to influence its partners in Europe and NATO could be reduced.

Not without reason it was stated. The reason is, these capabilities are greatly influenced by the United States.

He said, with the release of the UK, the US also has the potential to question the seriousness of the UK in support of his country in a number of global policies related to the crisis in the Middle East and Ukraine.

"Maybe the US will be a little work hard to maintain a relationship with the trans-Atlantic and EU countries," Daalder said as quoted by Reuters on Thursday (25/06/2016).

Daalder also said, there are those who are very happy with scattered diffusion of Europe. It is a State Party Red Bear, Russia.

"All associated with the split of Europe, is a victory for Russia because it has become a policy of Russia and Putin," he added.

Agree with Daalder, Senior Advisor for Foreign Policy of President Barack Obama, Phil Gordon expressed concern Europe will only focus on the separation Britain and the independence movement in the continent and leave the United States alone deal with the burden of other international issues.

"There will be more time and effort and resources will be spent to address the consequences (Brexit), while time, money political support to help us meet global challenges will be reduced," said Phil Gordon.

In recent years, British Prime Minister David Cameron and Obama work together in the face of the global crisis that hit the world.

Britain is a major player alongside the United States in an effort to eradicate ISIS in Syria and Iraq. Not only that, the State of Queen Elizabeth is also an active ally of the US in Afghanistan and has always supported Uncle Sam to impose sanctions on Russia related to the Ukrainian crisis.
