Rome - Bos second most wanted mafia in Italy, Ernesto Fazzalari captured by the Carabinieri paramilitary police on Sunday, June 26th. For almost two decades, Fazzalari are on the run.
Fazzalari comes from Calabria mafia group Ndrangheta, a criminal organization of the richest and most influential. It has been declared a fugitive since June 1996.
As reported by Reuters on Monday (6/27/2016), the police said, the figure of a mafia boss Fazzalari second most sought after Matteo Messina Denaro, from the syndicate Cosa Nostra mafia.
Furthermore, the police explained that Fazzalari (46 yrs) has been given a life sentence after he was tried in absentia. She was convicted for murder, mafia crime, drug trafficking, robbery, and possession of illegal weapons.
